President Tong Tan Keng Yam attended the event as the Guest of Honour, with Mrs Mary Tan. The audience of more than 2,600 at Resorts World Sentosa also included Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, leaders of local international corporations and beneficiaries of the six charities.

The charity gala and concert raised funds primarily through cash donations and table sales, which ranged from $10,000 to $100,000. Additionally, a silent auction and an exciting live auction of items such as paintings, jewellery and vintage wines further raised funds on Sunday. Jackie Chan himself helped to auction a Richard Mille watch, which he donated to the auction.

Artises put up on riverting two-hour performance in their first concert together in Singapore. Wakin Chau (周华健) delivered a mix of classics, followed by Jonathan Lee (李宗盛) and Jackie Chan (成龙). The latter also performed a duet with local singer, Joi Chua (蔡淳佳) and shared the stage with Chinese artist Wei Yunxi (魏允熙) in a redition of “Tell the Wind, Bring Dad Home” (告诉风沙送爹回家), from the soundtrack of Jackie Chan’s recent blockbluster movie, “Dragon Blade.” Jackie Chan (成龙), Wakin Chau (周华健) and Jonathan Lee (李宗盛) ended the night with familar favourites “Friends” (朋友) and “A Sincere Hero” (真心 英雄), which they recorded together in 2003.

All donations goes towards the six beneficaries: All Saints Home, Sian Chay Medical Institution, Singapore Power Heartware Fund (for elderly services under Community Chest), Singapore University of Technology and Design (Scholarship Programme), Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities and the VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer.
