The Three Faces of Dom Pérignon

Singapores visionary creators interpreted each newly released Dom Pérignon Vintage through three definitive art installations at The Three Faces of Dom Perignon.

HARMONY – Dom Pérignon Vintage 2005 WHITE by Dawn Ng, Artist

A round white tent lit from within, the installation created an air of mystery as viewers were confonted by large circular shadows floating behind a gossamer veil flowing from ceiling to floor. Creating a sensation of total immersion, viewers moved through the sea of orbs, which alluded to the facet of Harmony. The installation drew inspiration from the Dom Pérignon Vintage 2005, which is a harmonious assemblage of the finest black and white grapes. In creating a white-on-white installation, Ng also paid tribute to the perfectly balanced taste of Dom Pérignon champagne.

THRILL – Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2003

ABOVE & BELOW by Janice Wong, Chef

The Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2003 fascinates by playing with paradox to the point of contradiction. Taking this paradox as an inspiration, chef Janice Wong created an edible art experience from above and below. This concept formed the focal point of Wong's installation, which is a combination of dynamic visual and edible art. From above, viewers were welcomed by a food pairing ceiling experience featuring rehydrated dried fruits - tomato filled with reduced balsamic & black olives, figs & reduced nectarine, cauliflower & basil, plum coated with berry powder, peach and pink pepper. Meanwhile, a painted ceiling panel with 1,500 holes was hung two metres above ground. This ceiling painting was mirrored by a sea-of-canapés art piece, sated with tapioca crisps and caviar.

INTENSITY - P2 Vintage 1998

FLY FOR ME by Yian Huang, Photographer

Yian captures the interplay between the power and grace of dancers, and brings viewers into a world of exploration, movement and human connection. As one of his most intensely personal works, FLY FOR ME was shot over a period of ten weeks in Paris, France. Encapsulating Dom Pérignons philosophy of Intensity, FLY FOR ME perfectly represents the intense nature of the Dom Pérignon P2 Vintage 1998.
