Mikimoto presented their new SPLASH Collection at their boutique at ION Orchard in the company of celebrity stylist Keith Png who presented multiple ways to wear Mikimoto's Akoya Necklace for different occasions. Readers had the opportunity to learn more on caring for their pearls and understand the complexity behind restringing a pearl necklace, if the necklace were to snap!

Mikimoto the originator of cultured pearls has been crafting quality pearls since 1893, started by their founder Mr Kokichi Mikimoto, the brand places beauty and elegance into the design of their jewellery.

Mikimoto released their new SPLASH Collection which was inspired from the moment of water splashing up. Where the strength and glamorous filled with energy releases the individuality, this stunning design is brilliantly expressed with Akoya pearls and Diamonds that exudes the vibrant personality. Using ‘water splash’ as the main motif – an array of different sizes of Akoya Pearls to represent the positive energy of water drops emerging during the transformation, the sparkling diamonds harmoniously complement the iridescent glow of pearls. This inspiring collection is a marvelous sight to behold.
